Lindsey Dickinson, NP
Lindsey Dickinson is a board certified Family Nurse Practitioner through the American Association of Nurse Practitioners (AANP). She earned her Associate of Science in Nursing in 2010 at then-Darton College in Albany, GA (now Albany State University), where she was raised. She then moved to Valdosta in 2011 to attend Valdosta State University for her Bachelor of Science in Nursing, which she earned in 2014 while working as a Registered Nurse in med-surg and post-anesthesia recovery at SGMC. Lindsey decided to take a brief adventure as a travel nurse and worked in both Savannah, GA and Denver, CO during 2016 before returning to the town she considers home, Valdosta, to pursue her Master of Science in Nursing. During this academic journey, she worked as a Registered Nurse in an adolescent inpatient psychiatric care facility and then in the emergency department at SGMC. Lindsey graduated from Walden University in November of 2019, and joined Dr. Bishop’s team at Valdosta Family Medicine as a Family Nurse Practitioner in January of 2020. She enjoys playing piano, spending time with family and friends, and cooking new recipes with her fiance, Will.
Pollyanna M. Bass, FNP-C
Pollyanna M. Bass, BSN, RN, MS, FNP-C, is a board certified Family Nurse Practitioner by the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC). Pollyanna was born in Illinois. Pollyanna moved to the Valdosta area from Belgium due to her father receiving orders to be stationed at Moody A.F.B. in 1989. Pollyanna attended Lowndes High School her senior year and graduated in 1990. She attended Valdosta State University where she obtained a Bachelor's of Science in Nursing. She was inducted into Sigma Theta Tau, the honor society of nursing, in the Epsilon Pi Chapter in 1996. She worked at South Georgia Medical Center as a registered nurse in the Intensive Care Unit for two years. Pollyanna then moved to Gainesville, Florida to attend the University of Florida in order to pursue a Master of Science in Nursing in the Family Nurse Practitioner track. While attending the University of Florida, she was employed by Shands at the University of Florida in the Medical Intensive Care Unit. Pollyanna graduated from the University of Florida in December 2000. She then moved to Lake City, Florida where she was employed by an Internal Medicine Physician until she married in 2004 and moved to Pavo, Georgia. Pollyanna then worked in Jasper, Florida with an Internal Medicine Physician until August 2014. She then joined the Valdosta Family Medicine practice in September 2014. Her husband Michael was born and raised in Valdosta. She and her husband have one son, Benjamin. She enjoys running, spending time with her family, and college football (GO Blazers!, GO Gators!).
Brandy Renee VanJura, NP
Brandy Renee VanJura, BSN, RN, MS, NP-C, is from Hahira, GA. Graduated from Lowndes High School. Graduated with honors with a Bachelor’s of Science in Nursing from Valdosta State University in 2001. Worked at Emory University Hospital for 5 years with liver and kidney transplant patients. Brandy went to Georgia State University in Atlanta, GA for her Masters of Science degree and graduated in 2006. Brandy moved back to Valdosta in 2006 and joined the VFM practice with Dr. Stewart Williams. Interest includes women’s health and wellness exams. Brandy is married to Matthew VanJura and has one daughter.
Kimberly S. Snow, FNPC
Kim is a board certified Family Nurse Practitioner by the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC). She attended Valdosta State University and obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing, March 1997. She worked as a Registered Nurse in dialysis and emergency medicine in Thomasville, GA. Kim attended Florida State University. She graduated December 2000 with a Master of Science degree in Nursing, Family Nurse Practitioner track. Kim joins Valdosta Family Medicine with 17 years of experience in primary care, mental health and emergency medicine. She enjoys spending time with family, college football and saltwater fishing.
Anna V. Grant, NP
Anna C. Vaggalis is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner by the American Association of Nurse Practitioners. Anna is a graduate of Lanier County High School. She attended Valdosta State University and obtained a Bachelor’s of Science in Nursing in 2015. She worked as a registered nurse at South Georgia Medical Center in the Cardiac Progressive Unit for two years, before transferring to the SGMC-Lanier Campus where she served as the Patient Care Coordinator for the swing-bed/inpatient facility. She attended South University in Savannah, GA for her Masters of Science degree and graduated in 2018. Anna joined VFM in September 2018. She enjoys going to church, spending time with family and friends, working out, and all-things Tom Brady! Go Bucs!
Ashlyn Hancock, NP
Ashlyn Hancock is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner by the American Association of Nurse Practitioners. Ashlyn is a graduate of Clinch County High School. She attended Valdosta State University and obtained a Bachelor’s of Science in Nursing in 2018. She was named VSU College of Nursing and Health Sciences' top graduate and received the President’s Award of Academic Excellence. She worked as a registered nurse at South Georgia Medical Center in the Medical Surgical Intensive Care Unit for three years. She attended Valdosta State University again in Valdosta, GA for her Master's of Science in Nursing and graduated in 2021. Ashlyn joined VFM in November 2021. She enjoys spending time with family and her dog, Brodie. She also enjoys attending her husband’s football/baseball games! Go Blue Devils!
